Event Details

Many towns have an Elm Street, Washington Boulevard, or Second Avenue. What sets Detroit apart are recognizable streets such as Woodward, Beaubien, Mount Elliott and Selden. Behind each of these street names is a man or woman who played an important part in Detroit’s past. Come explore Detroit’s history through its street signs, and hear the stories of the people whose legacies are traveled by thousands every day.
